Upload brain

USB is only for a new empty board, or Wipe brain. Later updates and Wi-Fi live on Options — no cable.

  1. Turn the load breakers OFF, plug the new board into this PC with USB.
  2. Tap Scan USB, pick its COM port and the board model.
  3. Tap Upload brain and wait until it says done.
  4. Unplug USB and power the board where it will work; wait until it shows ONLINE on Boards.
  5. On its board page confirm the board model.
  6. Name each pump / valve and confirm it; test each one with the breakers still OFF (relay click + green ack).
  7. Only then turn the breakers ON.

COM is the USB port of the plugged board.

Use the same network this computer is on. In the garden the board looks for this Wi-Fi by itself.

After the first write, keep the board in the field. Update brain and Link Wi-Fi from Options.

SYNC sends this computer’s Wi-Fi, address and board key over USB. Brain stays as it is.
